MATLAB and Simulink Based Books
Written for junior and senior undergraduate students in mechanical, electrical, and aerospace engineering programs, this book shows how to create and analyze mathematical models of dynamic mechanical, electrical/electromagnetic, thermal, and fluid/pneumatic systems with the practical goal of using this knowledge to design and test various real-world systems. Topics covered include transfer function approach, state space approach, the Laplace transform and coupled-field systems.
MATLAB and Simulink are used to solve examples in the book. An appendix with a list of useful commands from Control System Toolbox and Symbolic Math Toolbox is also included. In addition, a supplemental set of MATLAB code files is available for download.
