regg xpc host target communication

Helllo All,
I have few questions about xpc target host communication
I wanted to see the communication between target and host initially in my laptop using virtual machine,where i have installed two os's both are windows 7 and windows 7(other os named as windows 7.1) and i am trying to make them communicate but something is going wrong where i am unable to make them communicate even after changing LAN settings in host configuration setting in host .It would be nice if someone helps or hints me the idea of how can i proceed.
