How to train Neural network for recognising onlly sinusoidal pattern

It is required to create a subsystem in work space of simulink which would identify whether the input current to that is sinusoidal or not? The neural Network toolbox with Back propagation is expected to train the network ,Just to avoid the mal tripping for Magnetizing inrush (non linear) current to the protective scheme already designed using simulink
